The presentation introduces recent development trend of the humanoid robot, overall composition and key difficulties of humanoid robots. Then, methods and research results on walking motion control are introduced. Future research prospects are provided finally.
Kang An received his joint Ph.D. degree in robotics from Tongji University and Cornell University. Currently, he is an associate professor of Shanghai Normal University, and the director of the Robot and Intelligent Manufacturing Lab. His research interests include intelligent robot system, visual perception and detection, artificial intelligence and deep learning. He is also carrying out industrial application works in the fields of industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots and intelligent visual inspection.
